Operation Paws for Home
Their mission is to create a better world for companion animals and the community through rescue, rehabilitation, education, spay/neuter, and providing resources to underserved populations. Locally, OPH provides pet adoption services and fosters in the southern PA area.
Operation Paws for Home is our 4th quarter Casual for a Cause charity of 2024.
Casual for a Cause
Each year we ask our staff to nominate their favorite local charities and non-profits for our Casual for a Cause program, and we get over a dozen nominations for many amazing organizations. We take those nominations and ask the staff to vote on their top four choices. The four with the most votes become that year’s Casual for Cause charities.
Employees make donations throughout the month – in exchange for dressing casually in the workplace. Each quarter we total the donations from the past three months, Heritage Valley matches the total amount, and we present the check to the deserving organization.
