Rapid Transfers

Move Funds Instantly with Rapid Transfers.

Now you can move money between banks faster! Rapid Transfers in your mobile app allows you to make “near-instant” debit card-based transfers between your Heritage Valley accounts and your other external bank accounts or mobile wallets. Now when you need to move money to cover an unexpected expense or access funds while traveling, just select “Transfer” in mobile or online banking and select between rapid and standard transfer.

For internal transfers, use the App’s Standard Transfer feature for same day processing. In all other cases, transfers may take 1 – 3 business days.

Fund availability may vary depending on the receiving financial institution.

With Mobile Deposit, you can leave the car keys in your pocket and pull out your smart phone instead. Snap a picture of the front and back of your check, and make the deposit using only your phone.

You’ll receive confirmation your deposit has been securely submitted.

Free Bill Payer

Pay Bills Online Or Through Your Mobile App

Our Bill Pay service comes free with your Online Banking account. It’s an easy to use, hassle-free method for paying and receiving bills online. Payments are conveniently made from the Heritage Valley account of your choice using online banking or your mobile banking app.

Once enrolled in Online Banking, you can access Bill Pay on the mobile app.

Mobile Banking FAQ

One common reason for this is multiple unsuccessful password attempts, which can temporarily lock the account as a security measure.

If you receive a password‑change notification you didn’t request, treat it as suspicious. It could mean someone is trying to access your account or that the message is a phishing scam. Do not click any links or reply. Contact us directly using our official website (www.heritagevalleyfcu.org) or phone number (717-840-4981) to verify.

Steps to Set Up an Alert:

  1. Log in to your mobile banking app.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Tap on your Saving/Checking account.
  5. Choose Alert Preferences.
  6. Select Balance or Transaction Alerts by clicking Add Alert.

 Configure Your Alert:

  • On the alert setup screen, set the condition:
  • For Balance Alert: When BELOW/ABOVE: Enter the dollar amount at which you want to be notified.
  • For Transaction Alert: When a CREDIT/DEBIT: Enter the dollar amount at which you want to be notified.
  • Under Notify by, choose how you’d like to receive the alert:
    • Text Message
    • Email
    • In-App Message
  • Tap Add Alert at the bottom right to save your settings.

After being approved for Mobile deposit, please follow these instructions to make a deposit on the app:

Endorse Properly

  • Sign the back.
  • Add: “For Mobile Deposit Only” under your signature.

Deposit Steps

  • Tap Deposit in the app.
  • Enter amount → Continue.
  • Select account.
  • Take clear photos (front & back, all corners visible).
  • Confirm & submit.

Timing

  • Submit by 8 AM, Noon, 4 PM for same-day processing.
  • Posting: 8:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 4:15 PM.

Funds Availability

  • First $275 immediately (if checking & no hold).
  • Remainder: next business day.
  • New accounts (<60 days): 4-day hold.
  • Weekends/holidays: may delay be delayed for review.
  • Keep the check for 90 days, then destroy.
  • Don’t write anything else until confirmed deposited.
  • No money orders.
  • Any check may have extended hold.
  1. Log in to your Heritage Valley mobile banking app.
  2. On the home screen, locate the buttons:
    1. Transfer | Deposit | Pay | Message
    2. (Swipe left if needed to see more options)
  3. Tap on DOCUMENTS, then select Enrollment (across the top)
  4. Fill in the User Profile information and select Document Delivery Preference.
  5. Press Save.
  6. You can now save, share, or print your statements of the future. No past statements are available.
  1. Once your PAYEEs are set up, you can easily transition from one PAYEE to the next setting up each payment.
  2. Recurring payments can be set up also.
