Search 93-South Central PA Search and Rescue
Search 93-South Central PA Search and Rescue is a Non-profit, 100% volunteer Search and Rescue team that was developed to help local emergency services and communities deal with lost or missing persons. They train to maintain readiness, provide a professional rescue team that includes Search Managers, Ground Search teams, K9, UAV and EMS capabilities that provides support to all public safety agencies.
Search 93-South Central PA Search and Rescue is our 1st quarter Casual for a Cause charity of 2025.
Casual for a Cause
Each year we ask our staff to nominate their favorite local charities and non-profits for our Casual for a Cause program, and we get over a dozen nominations for many amazing organizations. We take those nominations and ask the staff to vote on their top four choices. The four with the most votes become that year’s Casual for Cause charities.
Employees make donations throughout the month – in exchange for dressing casually in the workplace. Each quarter we total the donations from the past three months, Heritage Valley matches the total amount, and we present the check to the deserving organization.
